1. RPM Raceway

RPM Raceway has an indoor go-karting track located in Syracuse! Their Go-karts are electric and can reach 45 mph! This is the best place to celebrate birthday parties with high-speed karts.

The center has a 1/4 mile long track, which is pretty straightforward and beginner-friendly with not too many challenging turns.

RPM raceway hosts league racings once a week throughout the year across all their centers that can be used as a perfect entry into the world of professional kart racing!

LMP is one of the best outdoor tracks in NY, located in Lafayette. They are currently only open for kart owners.

They also have an on-site kart shop to maintain parts of both Rotax and IAME engines in the shop. The facility is open between April and October and closed in winter. Fridays are usually practice days, Saturdays and Sundays are open for both practice and league races (if any are scheduled).

Leagues

  1. Spartan Mid-Atlantic Kart Series
  2. Rotax Max Challenge Trophy Series East

Spartan Mid-Atlantic series is a 6 round series that takes place between August and October. Rotax’s series is a 4 round series that takes place between May and July.

The track is 0.5 miles long, with the largest configuration having 10 turns, it has a hairpin turn, a few decreasing radii, a few increasing radii turns, and a chicane turn.

3. Ringwood Raceway

Ringwood Raceway is a very affordable option for outdoor karting and a perfect place to visit with your family, especially with teen and pre-teen kids. The track is open between April and October.

The karts won’t be as fast as the ones in RPM raceway but this place also costs half the price. Contact them for pricing of birthday events, other group events, and track rental.

4. Alex Bay 500 Go-Karts

This is one of the biggest tracks in New York! They are located in Alexandria Bay and have gas-powered go-karts that can reach 25 mph.

The height requirements are to be at least 54″. However, if your kids don’t meet the requirement, they can ride along with an adult driver in a double-seater kart.

The track is 1 mile long, satellite image shown. The track is beginner-friendly with not too many difficult turns and a large gap between each turn.

Apart from Go-karts they also have mini golf and Arcade. The tracks are likely to be closed in winter.

5. Pineview Run Auto & Country Club

This 1.1-mile long track is used primarily for cars and motorcycles, however, members are also allowed to take their own Go-karts. Visit their website for more information.
