Best Go-Kart Track in Brooklyn and Nearby
Brooklyn has 2 amusement parks that have go-karts, however, if you’re looking for facilities that are dedicated to kart racing and have fast Go-karts then you’ll have to travel a bit. Here are the 5 best tracks you can visit:

1. Oakland Valley Race Park

OVRP is an outdoor track located in Cuddebackville and is the closest outdoor karting track (about a 2-hours drive away from Brooklyn).
They have Gas-powered karts for rental that have a top speed of 50 mph! Experienced karters can rent faster karts. Note, they are not open throughout the year. You can race here between April and November.
Kart owners can rent the track for practice sessions and participate in NY championship races. Classes are the usual 2-stroke engines, 50cc for kids, 60 and 100cc for juniors, and 125 TaG and Shifters for Adults. For the 4-stroke engine class, LO206 engines can be used.
Their sprint Track is 3/4 miles long and has 10 turns that include a hairpin turn, a double apex, and a few right-angle turns. They also have a 1/5 mile long Oval Track!

RPM Raceway is an indoor go-karting facility located in Long Island, Jersey City, they also have a track in Stamford. Their Go-karts are electric and can reach 45 mph!
This is the closest track you’ll find from Brooklyn that is purely dedicated to Go-Karting.
This can be the perfect place to celebrate birthday parties or any other event. The pricing for group events starts at $40/person for kids and $60/person for Adults. You’re allowed to race against each other in group events.
Both the centers have 2 tracks and are 1/4 mile long, and occasionally the tracks are joined to form one 1/2 mile-long track.
One track in each center has hairpin turns, double apex turns, decreasing radii, and other challenging turns while the other track has got more right-angle turns and increasing radii making them more beginner-friendly.
If you’re looking to make go-kart racing your new hobby, RPM raceway can be a good place to start, they organize league racing once every week throughout the year.

Autobahn Speedway is probably the best Indoor-karting you can experience! The closest center from Brooklyn is located in Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack.
Their Go-Karts are Electric and the karts (for Adults) have a top speed of 50 mph. The acceleration of the karts is amazing as well, you can feel yourself getting pushed against the seats!
Their track has hairpin turns, increasing radius, decreasing radius turns, and straightway roads to reach the high speed.
Parties and Corporate events can be booked in advance (minimum 8 people in the group).
The league racing in Autobahn centers happens 3-4 times a year and each tournament is 6-8 weeks long! Fair to say that you’ll get loads of opportunities to race against the very best.
The league includes team endurance racing, solo endurance racing, and a king of the hill kind of racing.

Luna Park is an amusement park in Coney Island, Brooklyn. They are famous mostly for their roller coaster rides, but they also have some double-seater Go-karts that you can try out.
Amusement park Go-karts are usually kids friendly and the same can be expected from Luna Park. You won’t find the fastest go-karts here but the roller coaster rides can make up for it and this is also located within Brooklyn which likely makes this track the closest to you.
However, if your sole purpose is to drive the fastest karts then this or any other amusement Park may not satisfy you.
5. Brooklyn Go Karts & Miniature Golf

Again you won’t find the fastest go-karts here and if you want to experience true racing karts then this Park won’t satisfy you. However, this can be a good place to visit with kids.
