If you’re looking for tracks near Philadelphia, you’ve loads of options for Indoor racing but not too many outdoor tracks and none of the outdoor tracks that provide karts for rental. However, Indoor tracks that are nearby are good enough for almost everyone’s needs.
Whether you’re looking for a facility to host a birthday, corporate party or just getting started in professional kart racing, you will be able to do it all! The nearest karting club is in Mertztown and is about 60 miles away, located in Mertztown.

Speed Raceway is located in Horsham and Cinnaminson and is the most popular Go-karting facility in the region.
The tracks are indoor and the karts are electric. You can either choose to reserve your slot or walk-ins are also available. However, online reservations will save your waiting time.
Usually, Indoor karting facilities are popular for their event hosting and the same is true for Speed Raceway, you can host birthday parties or corporate events by booking the tracks for private racings. Even the entire facility can be rented for bigger events.
Their league racing is a great way to get started in Go-kart racing without spending $1000+ on go-karts and club membership to be able to race on outdoor tracks.
2. Xtreme Zone

Indoor track located in Delaware with Gas-powered karts. Their track is 1/4 mile long and has 9 turns. They will also keep track of your lap times and the lap time of other racers, which will allow you to compare yourself with the best drivers.
Birthday Parties and Group events can be scheduled with private races for up to 8 racers. 2 Races for 8 racers will cost around $350-400 depending on the day of the week. Other than Go-karts, they also have Axe throwing and a VR racing simulators.
3. Lehigh Valley Grand Prix

Located in Allentown, LVGP is probably the best indoor track for you if you can travel, since they have everything that you can expect from an Indoor track.
Their track is also 1/4 mile long and has 11 turns that include slow turns, fast turns, and complete 180° turns. Their karts are gas-powered and can go as fast as 45 mph!
Bachelor Parties, birthday parties, or any other group events need to be booked 2-3 weeks in advance, and pricing starts at $50/guest. Since they take reservations, some days might be closed for the public so you should check their calendar before visiting.
Their League racing for juniors is held every Saturday morning and Adult races are held on Tuesday evenings. They also host annual endurance races with teams of 1-5 drivers, it’s a first to 500 laps type of race.
It’s a great way to get a feel for kart racing, participating in races will be costly but that is because racing is expensive! It is still less expensive than racing on kart championships, which can cost you over $5000/Season.
4. Oreville Speedway

Oreville Speedway is one of the very few karting clubs in Pennsylvania. They are located in Mertztown. They do not have rental karts. It’s a track for kart owners only.
The track is open between April and October on Sundays. You can check the entire schedule on their website. Everyone above the age of 5 has a class. You can contact them for engine classes information.
The track is an outdoor track unlike the others on this list, and it is 1/4 mile long, out of which 1/6 mile is an oval track. Therefore allows for both oval kart racing and sprint racing if the whole track is used. You can check the satellite image from the link below.

An indoor go-kart track in Poconos, that is designed like dirt race tracks. Their Go-karts aren’t the fastest around but have a unique design in comparison to other facilities.
Bachelor parties, birthday parties, or any other corporate event can be hosted, 1 hour of unlimited driving costs about $250 for teen birthday parties.
The only downside is the 54″ height limit.
Note: All go-karting facilities require you to sign a waiver or get it signed by your guardian (if you’re below 18). Make sure to wear closed-toed shoes, and follow other instructions given by the instructors on the track.
