Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a world-famous motor-sports track located in Austin. They have a karting track right next to their f1 track.
The top speed of their rental karts is 55 mph! Kart owners can bring their own karts if they wish to, the availability of tracks can be checked for any given day on their website, or contact them directly.
Private racing is also bookable for up to 1 hour, i.e, you can have 1 hour of track for yourself and your group.
They regularly host racings throughout the year for different classes, including LO206. For anyone looking to get into motor racing, participating in these races can be a nice start.

DKC is located near Dallas, you can experience really high-speed go-karts here. You’ll be first allowed to only use their normal karts, but If you can complete their laps under 75 seconds on normal karts, you will be eligible to drive the fastest karts in Texas.
Their tracks are 0.8 miles long and have 17 turns. Kart owners can bring their own kart for practices, a day pass for kart owners costs $99/day.

MSR tracks are located a little less than 35 miles south of downtown Houston. It is the best track in the Houston region for go-karting.
Their primary track is 2.38 miles long and used for professional races and hosts series such as the IndyCar Series and Atlantic Championship.

Lone Star Kartpark is located right next to Texas Motorspeedway in Fort worth. It is a rental kart facility with a 0.6-mile track. Their Karts are of 3 categories, Adult karts, Junior karts (Cadet Karts), and 2-seater karts.
They haven’t officially stated the top speed of the karts, but roughly you can estimate the adult Karts can hit a top speed of 50 mph in a straightway.
