Located nearly 25 miles away from downtown San Antonio, this outdoor go-kart racing facility is one of the best in Texas.

Their rental go-karts are gas-powered and can reach really high speed. Kart Owners can take their own karts to the facility and drive on the tracks with a day pass (which costs $80/day).

Anyone who meets the minimum requirements can race on SAKC’s tracks, doesn’t matter if you’re a total newbie who has never driven a go-kart or a pro-go-karter.

For the competitive racers, they regularly organize leagues (follow their social media for any updates on leagues, etc) and you can track their leaderboard on their website.

K1 speed is one of the most popular go-karting facility and that is for a good reason. They have more than 50 centers all around the world and are popular for their electric go-karts.

Along with their go-karting, they are also very popular for event hosting such as birthday parties and company parties.

The karts are all-electric and their electric motors make up to 20 hp power. Their Adult Karts are advertised to be able to hit 45 mph.

3. Andretti Indoor Karting & Games

An Indoor Amusement hub located nearly 15 miles away from downtown San Antonio, Andretti karting offers much more than just go-karting, they have arcades, laser tags, VR, and much more.

Their Go-karts can go as fast as 15 mph on junior karts and 35 mph on Adult karts. They even have Mini Mario Karts” for 4-6-year-olds.

“Super fun. They seem to have all of the latest arcade tech. Customer service was good too. We had food too and its a bit pricey and it wasnt that great. So I will say eat before coming. Mini Go karts were truly mini with a mini track. Wished that was just a tad bigger. Also the place was SUPER clean compared to Main Event. I appreciated that! Thank you!”

4. Hill Country Kart Club Raceway

A club member’s run facility in New Braunfels for competitive racers. Their tracks are 1/2 miles long and have 10 turns (Check the satellite image of the track in the link below)

Racing classes start from kid’s karts (5-8-year-olds) all the way up to “Masters Class” (35+). LO206 and KA100 are the 2 engines popularly used in their classes.

Members get access to the track for practice nearly all day long, since they are a member’s ran club, you’ll also get to vote on some decisions.

They are located nearly 16 miles away from downtown San Antonio, alongside go-karts they also have a batting cage, mini golf, Arcade, bumper boat, and more.

Snack Bar is available in the facility, birthday parties can be organized and even the whole park can be booked for a few hours.
