In this list, we have only included places that are primarily known for their Go-Karts and none of the Amusement parks. Does that mean that the Amusement Parks with Go-Karts are a waste of time? Absolutely not. Their Karts aren’t the fastest but they are still fun to visit with your family.

Located in Port Washington, Ohio, just off of Route 36, Adkins raceway is one of the best outdoor-kart to practice your racing.
Their rental karts can help you to get started in the world of competitive racing without having to spend a lot on buying your own go-karts, their rental karts can go as fast as 45 mph. They organize leagues, have their own kart-shop on-site, and offer to coach, making it an ideal track for racers.
Don’t worry if you’re a complete newbie, you can visit and enjoy a fun day out here. You don’t need to be a competitive racer or a “wannabe” racer to enjoy outdoor karting. Outdoor karting is a very different experience from indoor karting and if you’re nearby, you won’t regret a visit.

Full Throttle Adrenaline Park is located in 3 locations in Ohio, between Cincinnati and Florence. Their track in Louisville is one of the best in the region.
Mostly popular for corporate events and birthday parties, but aren’t limited to it. Even if you’re looking for competitive racing, they regularly organize leagues in all their centers.
Their rental karts are Gas-Powered and can go as fast as 40 mph. The tracks can all be found on their website. They even have karts for kids (3 years+), one of the rarer facilities to offer that. Even most of the amusement parks don’t have kid’s karts.
All in all, this place satisfies almost everyone’s needs, if you’re near the Kentucky border, this place is worth a visit.

Located in Medina just outside of Cleveland, HV Indoor Karting is just as good as any other Indoor Karting facility, you can host a party or do some competitive racing. If you’re near the Cleveland region, this track is one of the best in Cleveland.

Another Indoor-Outdoor hybrid Go-Kart track in Cleveland! Not just one but there are two of these indoor-outdoor hybrid tracks in Cleveland.
They use the Sodi RTX electric go-karts that can go as fast as 45 mph! The junior karts won’t go as fast, they are speed controlled and safe for kids.
They have 6 different track configurations, in summer you can race in their hybrid configurations. Configurations can be checked on their website.

A membership-only type of track located just a few minutes from I-275, this is the best outdoor karting track in the Cincinnati region.
They are famous among kart owners but they do offer their own karts for rental, their rental karts can go as high as 50 mph!
The only downside is that they are open only for their members so it might not be the place for you if you aren’t a regular, the plus point is that their basic memberships aren’t that expensive if you’re going to go there on a very regular basis.
They have a 0.7-mile road course, with 7 different configurations all professionally designed for racing (Check out their configurations here).

Popular for birthday parties, and other corporate and group events, Buckeye Raceway Located in Columbus, is the place to be at for indoor go-karting in Columbus.
The Karts are electric and the ones for adults can reach a speed of 45 mph! The acceleration on these electric karts is a fun experience.
All races are 8-minutes long. The tracks are 1/4 miles in length, for beginner racers they have leagues both for adults and juniors, check their website for info on classes and timing of each race.

I’ve never been to a Go-Kart racing facility, what are the things I need to know?
- To be able to race, you must sign a waiver or get it signed by your parent if you’re under 18.
- You must wear closed-toe shoes while driving.
- If you have long hair then the hair has to be pulled back in a pony tail or bun.
- You won’t be allowed to drive if you have heart issues or back issues (if you have any medical conditions please consult with your doctor, or other qualufied healthcare professional to know if you are allowed to drive).
- Drive safely, not only will you have to cover costs for damaging any karts, you also put yourself and others at risk by driving rash.
Apart from that, every karting center has its own rules for minimum height/age requirements to enter a race (we have included the minimum requirements of all the centers in the list, please check the requirements before you visit).
Is there a K1 Speed in Ohio?
